European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is in Kiev to discuss Europe’s support as winter approaches in Ukraine.
“My eighth visit to Kiev comes as the heating season is about to begin and Russia continues to target energy infrastructure. We will help Ukraine in its valiant efforts,” she writes on X.
According to von der Leyen, issues to be discussed on site in Kiev include Europe’s support, winter preparedness, defense and G7 loans.
