The end credits scenes of the MCU are getting more

Credits scenes are irrelevant. The movie is over and everything after that is a goodie. Complaining about the credits scenes is like snacking on candy at a hotel reception and loudly complaining about the lack of woodruff taste. You don’t do that. Usually.

the recent post-credit scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe deserve the excitement though. There you sit in the cinema seat in the last few minutes, filled with fear, as if Michael Myers was waiting in the toilet line. Because there’s another horrible Marvel credits scene coming up. These aren’t candies, they’re root canals, with Freddy Krueger sharpening his blades on an open nerve. The first end credits scene in Thor 4: Love and Thunder with Chris Hemsworth shows them becoming more and more unbearable.

Before the end credits scene in Thor 4, you should flee the cinema

Thor 4: Love and Thunder ends emotionally for our thunder god, with a love lost and a new responsibility. In the credits there is a reunion with Zeus, the father of the gods. That should cause dances of joy, because Russell Crowe practically stole Chris Hemsworth’s previous film from under his nose, so entertaining and playful does he put on the heavenly self-promoter. However, the credits scene degenerates into pure horror.

In the past, a post-credits scene would have teased the mysterious return from the dead and left it at that. The first post or mid-credit scene of Thor 4: Love and Thunder, however, shows itself to be greedy.

Crowe has to deliver a long, far too serious monologue about disrespecting gods. He gives his Zeus a measured seriousness that he didn’t have in the whole film before. It seems infinitely wanted. Then the scene stealer from Thor 4 suffers the same calamity as many other victims who find themselves in MCU end credits scenes: Zeus must introduce a new Marvel character. You think the credits would mark the end of the day and then that! Hard work!

It’s Hercules, played by Brett”Roy Kent from Ted Lasso, a series you may know” gold stone At this point, cries of “Huh?” were piling up in my theater. and confused laughter. Once again, the MCU is mixing up a big end-credits cameo with a new Marvel character that may have a role in phase 8 or 9 of the universe. There is method to this, just as there can be method to a pair of long fingernails scratching a blackboard. Let’s take a quick look back!

Here are the major end credits scenes in Phase 4 of the MCU:

The pure Loads of super guest stars flattens in the credits scenes mentioned, also because many of them stumble into the MCU as if they were lost looking for a Halloween party. None of the credits scenes mentioned relate to any of the other films in the list. Some characters are incomprehensible to the public without a comic background, and the implementation is often at the level of a defective copy. Traumatic example: the horrific effects of Patton Oswald’s pip in Eternals.

If a scene featuring Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock makes the most sense in a list, you’re in big trouble.

Russell Crowe as Zeus in Thor: Love and Thunder

Charlize Theron’s performance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hit a new low in credit history. Maybe it hit me harder personally because I liked Sam Raimi’s film and was worried about an eyesore at the end. I was sitting in the cinema waiting for the unavoidable MCU credits scene. How awkward would it be this time? The fear of being ashamed of others grew and grew as it had not since the early days of Stromberg.

It got embarrassing. What could have been a fun performance by a highly acclaimed Oscar winner in a major franchise turned out to be a third-rate outtake from The Old Guard. Colorandi_causa found the right term for this unique credit phobia on Twitter: Franschiss.

The first end credits scene in Thor 4: Love and Thunder was a bit more unbearable than Doctor Strange 2 because of its length. Even I lost interest in it Russell Crowe’s amusing Wampensau game.

As long as Marvel boss Kevin Feige has no understanding, we must continue to live in fear.
