She has surprised many in this year’s “Master of Masters”.
That’s why Johanna Davidsson received the finest tribute when she was forced to leave the final.

Not many had high expectations for the adventurer Johanna Davidsson ahead of this year’s season of the acclaimed SVT program “Master of Champions”. Because there were already many other early favorites in the brutal competition that has made up this year’s tough edition.

But as Davidsson has impressed everyone and exceeded all expectations week after week during the spring. She has become a real viewer favorite with the Swedish people and her tribute film is still one of the strongest moments of the season.

The 40-year-old also became one of the first to qualify for the final without having to go through qualifying or night duel. But well into the final section, Davidsson found it difficult to keep up with the other elite athletes.
Tributes to Johanna
In the “sprint duel” competition, she met her superior in Jimmy Samuelsson, which was way too fast. Therefore, Johanna Davidsson was forced to leave the Master of Masters, but she really did it with the flag flying high and was celebrated in the best way.
– Your track record is on a completely different level than the others. Where other elite athletes might be driven mostly by the fear of losing, you were driven by the fear of dying. Here at Mästarnas mäster, you have fought against the world’s best downhill skier, a world champion in wrestling and a real world soccer player. And you’ve beaten them here and there. I think all of us who don’t follow the adventure world are incredibly impressed. It has been a great honor, says the presenter Mike Leijnegard in SVT.

Johanna was noticeably moved by the nice words and thanked her.
– It has been a great honor to be able to join and fight against you and all the other champions. My God, you guys are really strong. That I have managed to get here, I feel very satisfied with that, she says in the program.

The adventurer leaves Catalonia with a sense of pride about what she has achieved during the competitions.
– I will look back on this time as a really cool experience. Fun, hard, great hang out and the most fun has been being together with these great athletes – having competed against each other and with each other – being exposed to something tough and being a group. Jimmy, Sebastian and Anja have really shown that they deserve a final place, says Johanna in parting words.
