The editorial staff of LExpress crowned with the Grand Prix

The editorial staff of L’Express received the International Press Grand Prix on December 15, in the “Written and Internet press” category. An important mark of recognition from the prestigious Association of the Foreign Press in France. The organization brings together around a hundred journalists and foreign correspondents in France who cover French news for media present in 68 countries around the world.

Magda Banach, vice-president of the Foreign Press Association, explains: “With this decision, we wish to express our gratitude to you for the important part reserved for international news in the columns of your magazine as well as for the information rich and abundant on major international issues, including the war in Ukraine.”

“Thanks to the very strong involvement of the editorial staff and our correspondents, we have devoted no less than twelve covers of L’Express to the war in Ukraine since the beginning of the year, proof of our total editorial commitment to cover this dramatic event, which constitutes a turning point in European history”, reports Eric Chol, editorial director of L’Express.

Since the beginning of the conflict, more than 1,500 articles have been published on the site and in the weekly. A special issue, “We, the Ukrainians”, appeared on August 24, with the first exclusive interview in a French media of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Through our reports, our analyzes and our interviews, we have striven, during this year 2022, to give our readers the most rigorous information possible. We are very proud to receive the Grand Prix de la Presse internationale”, reacted Charles Haquet, editor-in-chief of the international service.
