“When we check the woman, we find pieces of glass and a kind of dough in her bag,” says the police spokesperson Patrick Fors.
It was around 4pm on Thursday that the police were alerted by a person who stated that the woman had put the items out in the park. When the caller confronted the woman, she allegedly picked up the items again. At the scene, the police found, in addition to the items in the bag, also pieces of glass on the ground.

The police classify the suspected crime as aggravated destruction, which means that someone intentionally spreads poison or other things with the intention of harming animals or plants.
Malmö’s dogs have been tormented since 2020
Since 2020, Malmö’s dogs have been tormented by so-called “dog buns” – buns with pieces of metal or glass in them. Around 160 reports of destruction have been reported in Malmö since January 2021.
But whether the mystery of Malmö’s dog buns can finally be solved is too early to say, according to the police.
– We have not questioned the woman yet, but of course we will look at possible connections to previous crimes, says Patric Fors.
Police are looking for more witnesses and are warning pet owners that there may be more doughnuts with glass.
