High threat image towards Hundstallet
The dog stable is a non-profit association that cares for dogs that have no one to take care of them. Isidor, who is a mix of a German shepherd and a polar dog, had been at Hundstallet for six months.
“His past experiences have left certain traces and made him shy in front of the world, but now he is more than ready to find his very own person,” writes Hundstallet on his homepage.
According to Johnny Kroneldcommunications and fundraising manager at Hundstallet, it is not uncommon for them to be threatened by people whose dogs have been taken into care.
– In this case, it is a person who harbors a grudge against both the authorities and the Kennel because the person’s dogs were previously taken care of, he says in a message to News24.

Masked man pushed Isidor up against the wall
During the night, the kennels must have received a report from the security company about a burglary in progress. Shortly afterwards they discovered that Isidor was gone. A surveillance video revealed that a man had broken into Hundstallet’s premises and taken Isidor with him.
– He pushed Isidor up against a wall and tied him up, says Johnny Kroneld News24.
Kroneld also mentions that Isidor was very afraid.

The police acted quickly
The police quickly became involved in the case and it didn’t take long before they received a tip from a woman who thought she saw Isidor. Fortunately, Isidor was quickly identified and reunited with his handler. The police are still investigating the matter.
– They have acted very quickly, now we await the investigation, says Johnny Kroneld.
Kroneld also points out that Isidor is doing well, even though he is scarred by the experience.
