The dog Isidor was stolen from his box by a masked perpetrator.
Now both the police and the Kennel are looking for him.
– It can be seen on our surveillance footage that he was very scared and pushed up against a wall, says Johnny Kroneld, communications manager at Hundstallet.
During the night, a masked person entered Hundstallet’s premises in Åkeshov, in Bromma in Stockholm. In just a few minutes he had left. He had the dog Isidor with him.
“Lots of boredom”
Now his carers are worried. And hope he comes back soon.
– He has been through a lot of boring things in his life. We have worked hard to make him feel safe. It can be seen on our surveillance footage that he was very scared and pushed up against a wall, says Johnny Kroneld, communications manager at Hundstallet.

He says that there is a great security approach around the stables with security in teams, a security company and several cameras. In the surveillance footage, they have seen how a masked perpetrator struck in the night.
– But it has gone incredibly fast. It is a matter of minutes that it took the perpetrator, he says.
Lures with bitch smell
They have made a police report and are out themselves to look for Isidor. They work with various tricks to attract him, such as the scent of a bitch. But they still haven’t caught him.
And a box is empty at the stable in Åkeshov.

Isidor is one year and nine months old. He is a mixed breed with German Shepherd and Arctic Hound. Isidor was taken into care by the authorities and has been with Hundstallet for almost six months. Johnny Kroneld says that Isidor has been through a lot and was undergoing rehabilitation.
– He has been going to rehab to be his best self, and he was definitely making progress. Unfortunately, this risks causing that, he says.
Upset owners
It has happened before that people tried to get into the area. But no one has ever brought a dog from there.
– We take care of dogs that are taken into care by the authorities. We meet owners who may be upset for various reasons, it may happen that you want to try to get your dog out, says Johnny Kroneld.
Was anyone interested in adopting Isidor before he was stolen?
– We have stakeholders, he says.
