The doctors were shocked when they saw the substance he put in while drunk! Confession made a fuss

The doctors were shocked when they saw the substance he

A 47-year-old Nepali man who inserted a glass into his anus said he lived with a glass for three days without medical attention. The man, who applied to the hospital after his health problems, initially stated that he did not insert the glass on purpose, but later admitted to the paramedics that he used the 12 cm long glass to ‘gratify himself’ while drunk.

He couldn’t make his toilet DURING TWO DAYS

The 47-year-old married man sought help after he tried unsuccessfully to remove the glass cup himself. Health officials, writing in the Journal of Nepal Medical Association, said that he had not been able to defecate for two days, but was able to pass gas.

IT IS STATED THAT THE MOTHER IS NORMAL

While the man reported that he was in pain, it was determined that he did not have any abdominal swelling and anal injury or bleeding. The date of the incident was not disclosed in the case report prepared by Nepal Medical College and Teaching Hospital doctors. On examination, her mood and behavioral patterns were ‘normal’ and she had no history of psychiatric illness.

THE DOCTORS SAID THEY ARE FEAR OF BREAKING THE GLASS

X-ray scans showed an inverted cup of water in the upper rectum and colon. Doctors refused to perform sigmoidoscopy, a procedure that allows paramedics to look inside the sigmoid colon using a flexible tube with a light on it, fearing that the cup will break when ‘removed’. But initial attempts at the hospital to remove the glass from the man’s rectum were unsuccessful.

IT COULD CAUSE INJURY TO THE BOTTOM

The surgeons, who were asked to lie on their back with their legs in the air, tried to remove the glass by hand. But paramedics shared that the glass ‘cannot be grasped to remove’ and there is a significantly higher risk of glass breakage, which could lead to injury to the gut.

THEY HAVE TO SURGERY

With no other choice left, the man’s stomach had to be cut to allow the crew to approach the object. The doctors felt the glass in the large intestine, but were unable to remove the glass from the anus because ‘the glass was high, inverted and tightly compressed’. The surgeons then decided to perform a sigmoid enterotomy and successfully removed the vessel that way.

DISCHARGED AFTER ONE WEEK

After surgery, he placed a pelvic drain, which is often used after surgeries to prevent fluid buildup and to monitor for any leaks.
Five days later the man was able to defecate again and the drain was removed on the sixth day.
He was discharged one week after the operation and at the follow-up appointment two months later, it was revealed that there were no complications.

IT IS MORE COMMON IN MEN BETWEEN 30-40 YEARS

Discussing the issue of rectal insertion in general, doctors noted that most cases of men getting objects stuck in their rectums were men between the ages of 30 and 40. They added that items such as soda and beer bottles, deodorant containers, wooden or rubber objects, bones and batteries were found. Doctors said that most patients were intoxicated when they inserted the substances.
