We’ve known it since the end of March, a narrative solo DLC for Forspoken is coming, and even if the game is a failure on all fronts (critical and commercial), the developers at Luminous Productions will go all the way. So, after a few images and related information a little over a month ago, Square Enix is back with a gameplay trailer video, which better illustrates what awaits us in this extension. This will be an opportunity to discover a new character, Tannta Cinta, and to offer more powers to Frey, who sees her skill tree enriched with more gameplay possibilities. Not sure that these additions save the game from anything, but at least the developers’ promise is kept and players who have invested in the game will be able to extend the experience.
The Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust DLC release will be available on May 26, 2023. Players who have purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition of Forspoken will have early access starting May 23, 2023. Players who own the main game will be able to purchase the DLC Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust separately.
