Born in 1980, Julie Deliquet studied at the Montpellier Conservatory and the Jacques Lecoq International School, before co-founding the In Vitro collective and creating her first show in 2009, Last remorse before oblivion, by Jean-Luc Lagarce. Appointed in 2020 director of the Gérard Philipe theater in Saint-Denis, “Welfare” is the consecration of a career propelled by her artistic sensitivity to social issues.
