It was on Wednesday that the resounding final of Sweden’s master chef VIP took place.
In the final episode, viewers got to see Philip Lamprecht and Tone Sekelius settle for the prestigious win. During the entire season of Sweden’s master chef VIP, Filip and Tone have constantly been at the forefront and time and time again managed to impress the TV4 jury.

– It will be an even match between two incredibly talented chefs, said Tom Sjöstedt at the start of the final race.
It all then came down to putting together a three-course menu that would make the jury’s taste buds dance. And it turned out just as Tom suspected – a very even match.
But the match – it was finally won by Tone Sekelius.
– I was so unsure from the beginning, will I win the shit?, said Tove in sync.
And what made the difference – it was Tone’s fantastic dessert.

– It is a completely different level of difficulty with one of the competitors. And when that degree of difficulty fits, it will be a success. Then it will be perfect. And that’s what we’ve seen here…. said Marcus Samuelsson.
– Your dessert Tone… yes, it was a real knockout, Tom Sjöstedt said after Tone was announced as the winner.
