It was in Love Island 2023 that Nicci Hernestig 23, and Andreas Deak, 26 found love in each other. They quickly sparked the couple who for the rest of the season only had eyes for each other, despite new participants entering.
Back home, the love story continued and not long ago Nicci revealed that she is pregnant and that there is a little girl in her belly.
But then the couple dropped a bombshell: They have broken up.
“Sometimes things happen in life that may not always be as you had imagined, both for better and for worse,” wrote Nicci on her Instagram.
She continues:
“Some things may feel like a bottomless emptiness and sadness now but with the hope that when you look back at this time you will only see the amazing and incredible that we have created a small miracle. So regardless of everything, I believe that my little girl in the womb is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me and I miss her so much. With these words, I want to say that Andreas and I are no longer together,” wrote Nicci.

Andreas also published a picture where he wrote about the breakup. As expected, many followers were supportive.
But between the loving comments, some more skeptical ones also appeared. This is because of the picture he posted for a week ago. The picture is from an event that was in central Stockholm.
“My first event in Stockholm with my love,” he wrote at the time.
Some now consider it a bit strange for Andreas to write from one week to the next that Nicci is his love until it’s over.
During Tuesday, Nicci Hernestig published a video on her Instagram story where she thanks her followers for the strong support she has received in the past 24 hours.
