A national “resilience academy” has been launched in the UK with the aim of helping citizens and businesses prepare for future epidemics, natural disasters and cyber attacks.
LISTED ONE BY ONE: WE FACE THESE RISKS
Announcing the details of the plan in the House of Commons, Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden listed the dangers facing the UK as the Russia-Ukraine war, cyber attacks, epidemics, misuse of artificial intelligence and extreme weather conditions.
Warning against possible network collapses in the future, Dowden called on citizens to stock battery-powered radios, torches, candles and first aid kits.
