Chest Diseases Specialist Dr. Siahmet Atlı stated that the pollen population in Van is higher than the surrounding provinces and said, “Our patients should definitely apply to our chest diseases and allergy outpatient clinics if they have a runny nose, itching, cough, shortness of breath, phlegm and watery eyes that they cannot cope with.” Atlı stated that there was a pollen invasion from poplar trees and grass in Van as of May and emphasized that they received many complaints about the disturbances.
