The name of the fiery captain is on everyone’s lips and in all conversations in Guinea, and for good reason. After his first stint last November at the bar of the criminal court where he claimed to have nothing to say, he this time accused his former mentor, Moussa Dadis Camaraand Colonel Moussa Tiègboro Camara for having planned the crimes of September 28, 2009.
Me Mohamed Abou Camara is Captain Guilavogui’s lawyer. He declares : ” There is what is called the presumption of guilt or the presumption of responsibility of those in power. They have explanations to give around this file. The facts are being prepared, they are being carried out, the traces are being erased and the powers that be say that they know nothing. That they assume the facts for having been responsible, authorities at the time of the facts, it is obvious. »
They are ” simple allegations “, retorts Me Moussa Sovogui, the lawyer of Colonel Moussa Tiègboro Camara: ” To say that my client was associated with the conception and preparation of the events of September 28, these are assertions, mere allegations. »
Me Sovogui also invited Captain Guilavogui to help the court understand what really happened on September 29, 2009 in Conakry : “ That he has the courage to tell the court what happened and that we remember for once that the history of this country has not been falsified. Marcel knows many things, Marcel is at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of this story. »
This Tuesday, July 18, Marcel Guilavogui will face the lawyers of Captain Moussa Dadis Camara and Colonel Moussa Tiègboro Camara.
