The decision: Closed doors during the trial about the attempted murders in Sidsjö in Sundsvall

SVT’s reporter was on site in Attunda but had to leave the courtroom together with other media representatives and audience after a short while.

– It was not completely unexpected, it concerns many young people and alleged serious crime, stated lawyer Mikael Westerlund, who defends one of the defendants.

The trial is expected to last four weeks, but what emerges in the courtroom now remains unknown to the public.

– What can be considered is that my principal will not be allowed to present his account to the public, says lawyer Daniel Nordfjell, who is defending one of the other suspects in the case.

The report from SVT’s envoy was therefore short – but you can see it in the player above.
