(Finance) – A debut under the sign of excellence and business for K.EY – The Energy Transition Expo. Doubling of the total attendances (and more than doubled the foreign ones) for the event of IEG (Italian Exhibition Group) for renewable energies and energy efficiency, a point of reference in Italy, Africa and the basin of the Mediterranean. The event closed today at the Rimini trade fair after three intense days of commercial exchanges and discussions in the presence of all the different realities of the sector, confirming IEG’s role as a community catalyst for the world of energy transition.
Held for the first time without the simultaneity of Ecomondo, K.EY – The Energy Transition Expo has exceeded expectations, gathering numerous adhesions at national, European and non-European level and confirming not only how in this sector the made in Italy is avant-garde, but also how our country is highly attractive to foreign producers.
At the fair were present as well 600 brandsof which about 28% abroad, with the main market leaders of all sectors and a significant expansion of the supply chains. Over 300 foreign buyers present – from North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America – thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency, with over 23 International associations.
Also doubled exhibition surface compared to previous editions: 12 pavilions and a completely redesigned layout, with six thematic exhibition areas dedicated to each of the six product sectors of the event. Indeed, K.EY has given space to products and technologies in the solar, photovoltaic and storage sectors a SEC – Solar Exhibition and Conferencefor wind a WEM – Wind Expo for Med and for technologies and projects for the production and storage of hydrogen at HYe. Energy efficiency and storage in the industrial and building sectors, with technologies and services available to companies to optimize their energy consumption and reduce the carbon footprint in the transversal area EFFI – Energy Efficiency Expo. It’s still, eME – e-Mobility Expo and Sustainable City dedicated respectively to electric and sustainable mobility, from recharging infrastructure to interconnected mobility services, and to the smart city. And in the very current Sustainable Building District, focus on sustainable construction, in collaboration with the main partner Green Building Council Italia.
K.EY – The Energy Transition Expo has strengthened the leadership of Key Energy on issues of efficiency and energy transition and consolidated the role of reference network for all the communities involved, promoting constant dialogue with the institutions and connecting the key players in the sector with each other, thanks to a rich schedule of international events and conferences defined by the K.EY Scientific Technical Committee chaired by prof. Gianni Silvestrini.
For the first time, the K.EY ENERGY SUMMIT – States General of Renewable Sourcesa moment of public discussion promoted by ANEV, Elettricità Futura, ITALIA SOLARE, Consorzio Italiano Biogas, Federidroelettrica, ANIE Rinnovabili, Assoidroelettrica and Coordination FREE to submit organic and coordinated proposals to the Government, which received the availability of the Deputy Minister of MASE Vannia Gava.
A second, but no less important novelty was represented by the presentation of the 1st Report on the production geography of renewables in Italy, promoted and created by the Symbola Foundation and the Italian Exhibition Group, in collaboration with the main trade associations of the sector, to reconstruct , together with the most important Italian players on the market, the characteristics and territorial and sectoral distribution of companies in the renewable energy supply chain.
The third edition of ForumTech, a training and information event by SOLAR ITALY, which this year focused on the role of storage systems in the electricity market, on the technological challenges for O&M in Italy and the management of the end of life of photovoltaic modules.
In conjunction with K.EY also DPE The European Exhibition of Electrical power Systemsthe European event dedicated to the entire ecosystem of electrical generation, distribution, safety and automation, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group in collaboration with the Distributed Generation Association – Engines, Components, Generating Sets federated with ANIMA Confindustria.
For K.EY success also on average, with a OTS extension equal to 382.3 million potential contacts. As well as on the GreenTech Insights (GTI) digital platform, the network that unites the communities of the Green&Technology district fairs, with 131,210 professional views and on the A-World App (with the challenge dedicated to K.EY).
K.EY will return to Rimini fair of Italian Exhibition Group since February 28 to March 1, 2024.
