Among the brands to have unveiled their collections for spring-summer 2024 during Paris Fashion Week, Vaillant, a young label launched in 2020. Behind this French label hides the daughter of a very famous French comedian.
Bella Hadid, Tina Kunakey, Rita Ora, Rihanna… Since the launch of Valiant in 2020, it’s a success! Celebrities love feminine and no-fuss creations from the Parisian label. In three years of existence, the brand has also managed to arouse the interest of fashion professionals with its cutting-edge and environmentally friendly collections. So much so that in June 2023, the label was one of the three finalists for the Pierre Berger de l’Andam prizeultimately won by Avellano. Three months later, it was the city of Paris which rewarded the label, crowning it “Emerging talent“during his Great creative prizes. On Tuesday, September 26, Vaillant met with journalists and influencers at the Center Georges Pompidou to unveil its spring-summer 2024. A collection called Beaubourg, made 80% from Oeko-Tex certified materials. Loose suits, asymmetrical mini dresses, (recycled) lace, embroidered jeans… The result: modern, sensual and terribly desirable.
Alice Vaillant, fashion in motion
Behind this claw, a young woman, Alice Vaillant. Born in 1995, she took her first steps in the world of ballet, since she joined the Paris Opera dance school at the age of 11. She stayed there for seven years, before leaving for Montreal to study fashion. After working at jean paul Gaultier and Nina Ricci, she decided to launch her own label, to which she gave the last name of her father, the producer Philippe Vaillant. Her mother, particularly proud of her eldest, is called Anne Roumanoff. The French comedian often relays on Instagram the latest fashion shows of her daughter, whose career promises to be brilliant.
