The Quebec writer and actress Gabrielle Boulianne-Tremblay, activist for trans people, is the first author in French-speaking Canada to have testified to her transidentity in a novel entitled The daughter of herself awarded the Quebec Booksellers Prize and which has just been published in France by JC Lattès.
