The years go by and look the same for the Dane Jonas Vingegaard, winner like last year of three stages during the Gran Camino, an event organized in Galicia, where he sealed his victory in the general classification on Sunday February 25. Like the day before and the day before, the winner of the last two Tour de France dominated his competitors. The Dane left alone 3 km from the summit on the final climb (7 km, 8%) towards Mount Aloia, finishing 15 seconds ahead of Groupama-FDJ hopeful Lenny Martinez (20 years old). Vingegaard only missed the first stage, a time trial, won by the young Welshman Joshua Tarling. He starts the season like the previous one, already in very good shape, before taking part in Tirreno-Adriatico in March. The Tour of the Basque Country will follow in April, before the Critérium du Dauphiné in June, two races of which he is the outgoing winner.
