Dallas suffered a dull 0-4 home loss to Vegas. Stars’ evening was further darkened by captain Jamie Benn’s falling into a gross trick. Benn, who punched Mark Stone, flew out of the match right in the opening minutes.

The Dallas Stars suffered a dull 0-4 loss at home to the Vegas Golden Knights in the third final battle of the NHL’s Western Division. Vegas leads the match series with 3–0 wins and is just one victory away from a place in the NHL finals.

Vegas came rushing to the rink and Jonathan Marchessault scored the opening goal after just one minute of play.

Just half a minute from now Dallas captain Jamie Benn collapsed and flew out of the match. Benn hit Vegas with his bat Mark Stone to the neck area, when Stone had already fallen in the middle area and was lying on the ice.

Vegas went on a three-goal run in just seven minutes. Ivan Barbashev succeeded overwhelmingly and William Carrier was responsible for the 3–0 goal.

Star’s goal kicker Jake Oettinger skated to the substitution after the third goal. It was replaced Scott Wedgewood. Dallas took the shooting statistics of the game 34–16, but Adin Hill prevented a scoreless game with Vegas’ goal. Hill stopped all 34 shots.

The second batch ended prematurely

In the second round Alex Pietrangelo scored a 4–0 goal for Vegas. The second period had to be ended prematurely as frustrated Dallas fans threw things onto the ice. We went to a time-out, even though there were still 21 seconds left on the game clock.

Dallas was preceded by an uproar from the public Max Domin and Vegas by Nicolas Hague stalking. Dom was given a two-minute penalty for violence and a cross stick, plus a ten-minute behavior penalty. Hague received a two-minute penalty.

For the first time, the NHL’s final spot is on hold for Vegas early Friday Finnish time, when the teams meet again at Dallas’ home arena.

In the Eastern Division finals, the Florida Panthers are in the lead with a 3–0 win against the Carolina Hurricanes. The match series is interrupted for Florida on Thursday morning in the next match, which will be played in Finnish time.
