It was in the days when Victoria Riutta and her two-year-old son was sitting eating a supper when she made a horrifying discovery.
Victoria had bought home Skogaholm’s Varsågod bread and spread a sandwich for both herself and her son. But right when she took a bite of the bread, she felt something hard.

She was very shocked and posted a picture of her discovery in a Facebook group and consulted the group’s members on what to do next.
“This was in my sandwich!! What if my son had chewed on this?”, she wrote, among other things, in her Facebook post.

Found baked plastic in the bread
It turned out that Victoria got plastic baked into her bread.
Several members of the Facebook group advised her to contact the company, which she did.
– I felt it was lucky that it was me who got it and not my two-year-old son. I got in touch directly (to the company, ed. note) when I got answers from people about what I should do, says Victoria Riutta to News24.

In an email to Victoria, Fazer replies that they regret the experience and asked her to send in the piece of plastic so that they could do an analysis in production together with a quality manager.
