News24 has taken note of the notification to the Food Agency where a couple states that they found metal in Scans Hot Dogs Original at the beginning of June.

The couple would cook sausages for their one-year-old daughter. When they cut open the sausage, they discovered a large piece of metal in there.

In the notification to the Swedish Food Agency, the couple writes that they are very happy that they paid for the sausage before giving it to their daughter and had time to see the piece of metal. Had the couple not done so, the daughter could have ingested the piece of metal.

“It could have gone really badly,” the couple wrote in their report.

The couple also writes that they make a report in case there are more pieces of metal or chips in other packages of Hot Dogs Original.

It is not the first time that Scan has metal in its sausages. As recently as May, Scan recalled its 300 gram and 900 gram Chorizo ​​due to possible metal or plastic in the sausage, they wrote in a press release at the event.
