Sometimes it happens that mysterious things sneak into our food that shouldn’t really be there.
The customer’s disgusting discovery in the Coca cola can
News24 has previously written about when a customer made a nasty discovery in a Coca cola can. The soda can contained not only soda, but also a thick brown lump of something unidentifiable.
– I still don’t know what was in the jar. I have sent in the can to Coca cola, so let’s see what happens next. I felt a little disgusted and surprised as I had never experienced anything like this before, the customer told Nyheter24.

The customer’s disgusting discovery in the shrimp bag
Now one more has made a dirty discovery. This time it was Anders, 64, who found something suspicious in a bag of frozen Arctic prawns from Garant.
“Don’t buy these Garant shrimps (Axfood – Hemköp, Willys o CityGross) Disgusting fish in the bag. Tossed the crap and got 25 bucks from Axfood. Had I taken the bag to the store, I probably would have gotten a new one, but who wants to carry stinky shrimp bags to the store? The prawns cost much more than that. Damn bad treatment from Axfood’s customer service, so now there will be a bad review of the crap company. -5 out of 100”, writes the customer on Threads.
When Nyheter24 gets in touch with Anders, he talks about how he felt when he found the finds in the bag.
– I was disgusted and cursed.

Nyheter24 has also spoken to Magnus Törnblompress manager at Axfood AB, about the customer’s find and the compensation of SEK 25.
– In the seas and at the depths where these shrimps are caught, other animals also live, and even if the shrimps are sorted according to catch, it sometimes happens that one or two smaller fish of the same size, like this bearded kingfisher, are missed in the sorting and slip into the the packaging after cooking and freezing. They are completely harmless and in no way affect the quality and taste of the prawns in general, but the prawns are perfectly edible, says Törnblom and continues:
– In this case, our consumer contact has nevertheless chosen to offer a small compensation for the weight loss in connection with the consumer being in contact with us. However, if the consumer is not satisfied with it or has failed to inform that the product has been disposed of, he is welcome to contact our consumer contact again for help in advertising the product.
