The man Märtha Louise will say yes to on Saturday is the shaman Durek Verrett. He calls himself a spiritual leader and states that he has been a coach to several world stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow.
– He and Märtha Louise met through mutual American friends. She describes it as walking into the room and it just saying bang right away.
Criticized couple
Ever since they met, however, the couple has been heavily criticized. Durek Verrett has made several controversial claims. An example is his statement that children can contract cancer if they are unlucky .
The princess has been criticized for using her title to promote a gin launched ahead of the wedding, although it has since been withdrawn.
– Voices have been raised about removing her princess title because it is thought that she has used it for commercial purposes.
Mette-Marit’s son will not participate
Recently, there has also been a storm around the royal house, which has fallen in popularity with the Norwegian people. Mainly it concerns Mette-Marit’s son Marius Borg Høiby, who is accused of having abused his former girlfriends. However, Prince Haakon has stated that Marius will not attend the wedding.
On the guest list, however, are representatives from the Swedish royal house. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia are all guests at the celebration.
Otherwise, the couple has been secretive about the guest list, but a number of celebrities from both Norway and the USA are expected to come.
