The credible expert reveals now – here are the three teams that will settle for the big star Erik Karlsson this summer

Erik Karlsson is on his way to a new club.
Now there are credible reports in North America about which three clubs are leading the chase.

Erik Karlsson is the NHL’s most talked about player right now. Earlier this week, for the third time in his career, he was named NHL defenseman of the year when he was awarded the Norris Trophy, after winning the vote by a landslide.

Exciting information

And it wasn’t exactly a big bang. Erik Karlsson’s recently concluded season is almost unprecedented in NHL history, and it had been more than 30 years since any defenseman in the league managed to score more than 100 points. Karlsson’s feat is made even more impressive by the fact that he plays for the San Jose Sharks, who had no playoff discussions whatsoever.

But now everything indicates that we will soon see Karlsson in a team that seriously wants to challenge for the Stanley Cup title. The Sharks have openly announced that they are prepared to trade Karlsson, and they are also willing to retain part of the salary in the coming years to attract more clubs. And now comes exciting information and which teams are in the driver’s seat of trying to get the Swedish superstar.

Revealing the Three Laws

The respected NHL journalist Pierre LeBrun now names three teams that he believes are in the absolute best position to sign Karlsson. The first team mentioned is the Carolina Hurricanes, who have one of the league’s most star-studded teams, and will definitely challenge for the Stanley Cup next year.

The other team is the classic Toronto Maple Leafs, with one of the league’s best offenses by far. They have lacked a point-scoring back, and there Karlsson would clearly fill a gap.

Should Karlsson go to Toronto, however, it would have to mean moving one of their offensive star players – perhaps even William Nylander, which has been talked about in recent days.

The third team mentioned is the Seattle Kraken. They had a successful first year in the NHL, when they made it far in the playoffs, and considering the breadth of the team, they are certainly fighting for the title next season as well.
