The creators of Baldur’s Gate 3 show a dirty scene with a bear in the live stream and are immediately banned

Larian Studios is currently working on the role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3. To give the current status, there was a live stream from the developers. There were piquant scenes that led directly to the ban.

What kind of game is this?

  • Baldur’s Gate 3 is an RPG based on the famous Dungeons & Dragons. Larian Studios previously developed Divinity: Original 2, one of the best role-playing games on Steam.
  • You play your own character there or take over one of the ready-made heroes, experience hundreds of hours of adventure and decide for yourself how “good” or “bad” everything should end.
  • One of the most important points are the relationships between the characters and possible romances. In the release show “Panels from Hell” there were problems with this.

    • Why was Larian banned? Among the stream’s big announcements were the ability to play as a mad killer and have sex with bears. No kidding: Baldur’s Gate 3 allows sex with druids in bear form.

    Larian showed such a scene quite explicitly in the live stream. In a homosexual love scene between a vampire and a druid, the latter loses control and turns into a bear. The player’s decisions can then lead to sex.

    The stream ran on Twitch, YouTube and TikTok. After a few bare men’s butts and the bear scene, TikTok seemed to be getting too much and the channel was banned.

    The stream on the platform ended almost a full hour earlier, just as the Collector’s Editions were being presented. The channel is now unblocked again.

    Baldur’s Gate 3 wants to keep all options open

    The background to the scenes is that Larian wants to be as open as possible about everything. you want to be evil? Do so, but expect someone to stab you in the eye with a dagger. Do you like your companions? Go for it, but you might get more than you plan for.

    Baldur’s Gate 3 is said to have very few restrictions, but you will always have to live with the consequences. A total of several million words of text lines are included and the playing time should be between 75 and 100 hours.

    When and where will Baldur’s Gate 3 appear? Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to PC on August 3rd after 3 years in Early Access. The PS5 version is coming on September 6th. The game is not yet planned for Xbox.
