The court rejects Gunilla Persson’s appeal

– The latest is that the district court has not granted inhibition, says Johannes Paulson at the Kronofogden to Aftonbladet.

Gunilla Persson has claimed that several of the seized items did not belong to her but to her daughter, but the Crown Bailiff does not believe that.

“When the Bailiff came to the room, there was no other person there but Gunilla Persson. Gunilla Persson stated that she shared the room with her daughter Erika Persson, but the officers saw no signs that any other person would live in the room,” the authority writes in a statement according to The Express.

The bailiff raided Persson’s hotel room the morning after she competed in the Melodifestivalen competition in Växjö. They took things worth a total of SEK 79,500, including a pair of Chanel shoes, several necklaces, bracelets and rings as well as bags, blazers and a dress.

The background is a debt of SEK 640,000 that Persson incurred for various grants she received from Sweden when she lived in the USA and participated in “Swedish Hollywood Wives”.

Persson’s belongings are supposed to be put up on the Kronofogden’s web auction in the near future, but no date has yet been set.
