The decision on protective hunting concerns a bitch that originally comes from the Tönsen district. She has been documented in Färila in Ljusdal municipality since December 2021, and has been the subject of protective hunting on several occasions during 2022.
There have also been two confirmed wolf attacks on sheep in the area during the autumn of 2022.
The hunt is carried out by hunters appointed by the County Administrative Board and may last until February 16, 2023.
