Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

– We therefore make the assessment that there is a risk that it could cause serious harm to humans and domestic animals, says Simon Viklund, County Administrative Board Gävleborg.

The decision on protective hunting concerns a bitch that originally comes from the Tönsen district. She has been documented in Färila in Ljusdal municipality since December 2021, and has been the subject of protective hunting on several occasions during 2022.

There have also been two confirmed wolf attacks on sheep in the area during the autumn of 2022.

The hunt is carried out by hunters appointed by the County Administrative Board and may last until February 16, 2023.
