The ideologically hot debate in the Gothenburg City Council ended with those who lease 87 colony cottages on an island in the archipelago being given the right to buy them out.
The decision was expected.
More unexpected was that the chairman felt compelled to intervene when two of Gothenburg’s heavy politicians got into an argument where they issued a warning to let prosecutors investigate libel.
