No other members of the Finnish men’s national team Huuhkajie have been diagnosed with coronavirus symptoms. Head coach Markku Kanerva is on the sidelines for the time being from training and meetings.
With the head coach of the Finnish men’s national football team Markku in Kanerva has been diagnosed with a coronavirus infection. Kanerva, 59, is isolated from the rest of the team for the time being.
– No other team members have been diagnosed with symptoms. For the time being, the head coach is away from training and meetings, but otherwise the team will continue to prepare for Friday’s match as usual, Palloliitto said on Tuesday on his website.
Huuhkajat will host Northern Ireland on Friday in the EC qualifiers and will end their career in Group H next Monday with an away match against San Marino.
Slovenia and Denmark lead the group with 19 points. Kazakhstan is third, Finland fourth, Northern Ireland fifth and San Marino sixth. Huuhkaji have a total of 12 points with two game rounds remaining.
