The conflict resolved – collective agreement in place

Magnus Erlingmark, general secretary of the Players Association is relieved.

“It feels very good that we have reached an agreement that is better than the one we had before and where the players retain influence over their terms. Together with the Union, we have done a very good job to create the conditions to help footballers even better in the future “, he says in a press release.

The parties agreed on the new agreement earlier this week. The agreement is valid from 1 November 2023 to 30 November 2026.

“One of the most important things for us was that we were able to maintain influence over our terms. Furthermore, I feel a sense of pride that we have stayed together all this time. We are still over 200 players in total who stood together and it feels like a giant force” , says Kristianstad’s Mia Carlsson.
