The Commander-in-Chief on the suspected spy ships: “It’s happening more openly and provocatively”

Mission review was able to reveal on Wednesday that 27 designated spy ships had been in Swedish waters.

– Russia does not shy away from having armed personnel in uniform on board. It happens more openly and more provocatively, says Stefan Lundqvist.

According to Stefan Lundqvist, the espionage is serious because Russia can appropriate information about Swedish infrastructure.

– Our cables for power supply, for digital communication – internet, lie on the seabed.

What can Sweden do?

– It is important that our authorities and our companies that own this critically important infrastructure are aware of this. We also have to have our Coast Guard vessels out.
