The coaches smoked together after all -Swedish premiere: I’m tired

Malmö FF beat Djurgårdens IF on Saturday by 1-0 in the all -Swedish premiere. Immediately afterwards, MFF coach Henrik Rydström went to Djurgården’s new coach Jani Honkavaara, and said something.

Now Rydström talks about what it was about.

– He has been talking about the fact that we are the team that gets the most benefits from judges and he has not even been in the Allsvenskan before. Just watch this match. Now I sound like Roger Rönnberg in Frölunda, who is a wonderful leader, but there is a lot of whom to judge. I don’t know what the judge team was doing today.

Will apologize: “Shouldn’t tell him”

When asked what Rydström said to Honkavaara, the answer is the following:

– That he should not hold on and talk when it looks like this, but I should not tell him. I’ll apologize. I’m a little tired. We got a penalty last year and are the team that is usually in the opponent’s penalty area. Right now I’m most adrenaline -filled, so I’ll take a deep breath and enjoy the victory, but there were quite a few situations, where there was no free kick and where it became a free kick. We solved it and won.

Pontus Jansson: I get proud

Match hero in the match was Jens Stryger Larsen, who put 1-0 to Malmö at the end of the second half.

MFF star Pontus Jansson is very pleased with the team’s defensive effort.

– The defense game is the foundation that we can have a good attack game, but it may not be visible in all matches, says Jansson to Max.

– We talk about the fact that we have so damn many good offensive players, but you should also remember that the defensive quality we have is incredibly high. We put pride in defending and keeping zero. That’s fine. I get proud.
