The clothing chain Bik Bok is closing its store in Tuna Park in Eskilstuna after closing seven other stores. Today’s Trade reports that there are stores in Falun, Valbo outside Gävle, Västerås, Mölndal, Kungsbacka, Hudiksvall and Örnsköldsvik that have been banned again in less than a year.
After the store slaughter, the chain has managed to keep around 40 stores around Sweden.

Bik Bok is part of the Norwegian group Varner, which also owns Cubus, which also had a store in Tuna Park, Esikilstuna, but which closed again in 2019. In addition to Bik Bok and Cubus, Varner Group also owns Dressman.
In recent years, Bik Bok has landed on negative figures in terms of results. According to all companies Bik Bok had a result after net financial items that was a substantial million loss of minus SEK 44,602,000 after the year 2022.
This was before they were forced to close their eight stores, and what will happen remains to be seen.
