Among the perches of this summer, under the sign of the French-speaking public media, there are these mountain farmers in Switzerland who go up to the mountain pastures. The alpine season is this period when the cattle graze in the high pastures. A tradition that Switzerland wishes to include in the intangible cultural heritage of humanity by Unesco. But beyond the postcard, the work is demanding. Some give up. Other farmers have to rely on volunteers to ensure the season. Coraline Pauchard met one of them in the Valais mountains.
