The international community is on edge about Israel’s possible land operation in Gaza. It is only a matter of time before Israel, which has been supplying logistics to the border for days, launches a ground operation into Gaza. According to the images shared by the Israeli army spokesman, Halevi addressed the soldiers of the Israeli army’s “Golani Brigade”.
“WE WILL KEEP OCTOBER 7 IN MIND”
In his speech, Halevi said, “We will enter the Gaza Strip. We will undertake an operational mission to eliminate elements affiliated with Hamas. “We will also keep in mind the images and scenes of those who lost their lives in the attack that took place two weeks ago on Saturday (October 7).” he said.
“GAZA IS OVERCROWDED”
“Gaza is complex, Gaza is overcrowded.” Halevi said, noting that the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas was making preparations against Israel’s ground operation and said:
“The enemy is making a lot of preparations there, but we are also preparing against them. All the capabilities of the Israeli army accompany us in the land operation. Be brave with this thought. Be extremely determined and instill a high sense of confidence in your soldiers. This spirit will bring victory.”
While Israeli officials have been saying for days that they will start a land operation against Gaza, it is not known when this will happen.
PREPARATIONS CONTINUE
While trucks enter the region from the south of the Gaza Strip, thousands of Israeli soldiers stationed in the north, in the city of Sderot near Israel’s Gaza border, continue their preparations for the land operation.
In the statement made by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), it was stated that plans for the expansion of the expected land attack on the Gaza Strip have been approved and preparations are continuing. The IDF announced that the troops were training in accordance with the approved operational plans.

Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack against Israel under the name “Aqsa Flood” on the morning of October 7, against Israel’s violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel, Palestinian armed groups raided the Beit Hanun-Erez Border Gate on the Gaza-Israel border, captured it and entered the settlements within Israel.
The Israeli army also launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of warplanes.
