Following the clashes between Israel and Hamas, it was claimed on social media that a pregnant woman was tortured and killed by Hamas. A statement came from the Center for Combating Disinformation regarding the images in question.
The Center for Combating Disinformation stated the following:
“The claim that “A pregnant woman was tortured and killed by Hamas” regarding the images shared on some social media accounts is not true.
It has been determined that the images in question have been in circulation since 2018 and show “violent incidents between criminal organizations in Mexico.”
