The first photos of season 4 of Bridgeton have been revealed and teach us more about the return of the Netflix series.
Season 4 of The Chronicle of Bridgerton is actively preparing. The shooting has been underway for several weeks, for an release date that is not yet known. But for Valentine’s Day, Netflix decided to please his fans by revealing the first photos of the return of the series.
As we already knew, it is Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), the second boy of siblings, who will be at the heart of the intrigue. These first images reveal the beginnings of her romance with Sophie (Yerin Ha), a servant who disappears from her work to go to the masked ball of the Bridgerton. Their meeting will be passionate, but the beautiful will disappear before midnight … The first photos also show the couple Colin and Penelope back, as well as the new Gao family which promises to give a hard time to the two lovebirds.
Season 4 of Bridgerton will not arrive immediately, since the showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed that the shooting of the series was taking 8 months. It is a safe bet that the rest will not be released before 2026. Remember that a two -year expectation separated the release of each of the seasons in the series.

The Chronicle of Bridgerton is the adaptation of novels of the same name, written by Julia Quinn. Each season adapts one of the volumes of this literary saga. The first season is made up of eight episodes, lasting 57 to 72 minutes. The series is currently being broadcast on Netflix.

The first season of Bridgerton focuses on Daphne Bridgerton, the fourth child of Viscountess Lady Violet. Daphne enters the world and meets the Duke of Hastings, Simon Basset. The latter refuses to marry, despite the pressures of his relatives and his mentor. For her part, Daphne is desperate for finding a suitable husband. After many twists and turns, Simon and Daphne manage to put their disputes aside and get married to start a family. The final of the first season revealed that Penelope Featherington was hiding behind Lady Whistledown, this mysterious character who revealed the secrets of each other. REGEGE-Jean Page obtained planetary success by interpreting Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, in The Chronicle of Bridgerton. But the actor announced in Avirl 2021 that he will not appear in the rest of the series. He should therefore be absent from season 2, devoted to romance between Anthony and Kate. To justify his departure, Régé-Jean Page mentioned his discussion with Variety with Variety before season 1, which had announced to him that each season was independent and had a specific intrigue: “I said to myself” it’s interesting ” , because it looked like a limited series. However, the actor is not replaced in the role of Simon during this season 2. His wife, Daphne, appears well in this salvo of 8 new episodes, and the Duke of Hastings is indeed mentioned a few times . However, it is not in season 3.

The universe of The Chronicle of Bridgerton is infinitely expandable given the crowd of characters who appear in the first two seasons. Netflix has already released a spin-off dedicated to Queen Charlotte, Queen Charlotte – A Bridgerton Storyon May 4, 2023. This spin-off was devoted to the ascent of the Queen, and especially to her love story with King George. Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury is also at the heart of the plot.
