The Cameroonian Football Federation unveiled Friday, August 12 the name of the new equipment supplier of the Cameroonian Football Federation. The choice of the American equipment supplier One All Sports, very present in motorsport and unknown to football circles, is a source of controversy in Cameroon.

The Cameroonian Football Federation and One All Sports will sign a three-year agreement for the supply of sports equipment to national teams. If the financial terms have not been disclosed, Fecafoot has announced that this is the most lucrative contract ever made with an equipment manufacturer. One All Sports, replacing Le Coq Sportif, will also provide a bus for the Indomitable Lions and make equipment available for national team purposes at reasonable prices.
But the choice of this unknown equipment supplier who has never invested in football has sparked heated controversy in Cameroon: if some speak of a mafia operation, others welcome the initiative of Samuel Eto’o. Another segment of the population indicates that they do not understand that the president of FECAFOOT, who has always advocated transparency, is unable to reveal the amount of the commitments, taking the example of France, Germany and even Brazil, whose the contracts with its equipment manufacturers are known.
Note that Le Coq sportif, whose contract was due to end in December 2023, has sued Fécafoot for abusive breach of agreement, and is claiming damages. The case is far from over.
