During the winter months, many Swedes go to the Scandinavian ski resorts. We flock around the goulash soup at the après-ski restaurant like scouts around a campfire. But to get off on the trip, the economy has to cope with the ski resorts’ pricing in high season. News24 have therefore compiled Visit Fjällens survey on ski resort prices in 2023 and 2024.

This is how much lift tickets cost for a family with children
Included in the survey are Swedes’ most popular destinations. The cheapest on the list is Lofsdalen and the most expensive is Åre.
According to Visit Fjällen for a family with children, there can be a difference of SEK 3,918 in price between Åre and Lofsdalen during a high season week. If the family buys a six-day ticket in Åre, it costs SEK 11,108, while six days in Lofsdalen costs SEK 7,190 for the whole family. The cost per person then lands at SEK 3,086 in Åre, and SEK 1,995 in Lofsdalen.
