The goal is to build just over 31 MW of solar cells. It should provide an emission reduction of 165,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide by replacing dirty electricity from the grid and by hospitals and factories using less diesel as backup power when there are power cuts.
For the first approximately 400 small facilities in hospitals and care centers there is an agreement, but beyond that there are no signed agreements.
But how does the company view the fact that the first 400 projects will only save half a percent of the target – and how will they get there?
