While Ed Boon calmed the ardor of Mortal Kombat fans a few months ago regarding the announcement of the 12th episode, no doubt in order to maintain the suspense, David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, quietly announced the arrival in 2023 of Mortal Kombat 12 during an investor conference. The passage was even recorded and clipped to then be shared in talk shows and podcasts in the United States, then relayed on social networks.

What undoubtedly boil the creator of the saga, he who likes to make the community languish and play with silence. Nevertheless, Ed Boon decided to defuse his big boss’s dump by making a humorous tweet about Injustice 3 (“So, who heard the info on INJUSTICE 3?”). Since Mortal Kombat 12 will therefore arrive this year, it means that the game will have benefited from 4 years of development, the previous Mortal Kombat 11 having been released in 2019. It remains to be seen whether this sequel will continue what has been done in the series, or will change radically its gameplay. Wait and see as they say…
So who has heard the news about INJUSTICE 3?
