Johan Trouvé, CEO of the West Swedish Chamber of Commerce, is not the least bit surprised by the news that Volvo Cars issued a notice during the day.
– It is a natural part of an industry. And if there is anywhere you should be notified, it is in the automotive industry, he says.
On the fourth of May, Volvo Cars released a press release stating that the company needs to make costs more efficient, and as part of this, 1,300 Swedish jobs will disappear.
