The Center Party’s youth union romanticises drugs in viral video: “Take cocaine with grandma…”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The Center Party’s youth union (CUF) has previously been open about wanting to see a more relaxed and permissive drug policy. But now a clip is going viral the party’s Tiktok channel.

In the clip, a very specific question is asked to the viewers, followed by a justification:

– Do you want to move the drug off the streets and into your pantry? We want that in CUF. Today, drugs contribute to a black market and we want to make the black market white, says the guy in the video.

Here you can read everything about the Center Party’s new party leader Muharrem Demirok.

Want to legalize hard drugs

The clip, which has gone viral, has 770,000 views at the time of writing and contains several statements about drugs and a romanticization of their use.

In the clip, the person speaking can also be seen explaining that they believe it is about giving people a free choice and the opportunity to control their own lives.

– Do you want to take cocaine with grandma on the terrace? Then you will be allowed to do it. Or do you want to use some Crystal Meth to make your everyday life more efficient? Then you will be allowed to do it. Or maybe take some LSD every now and then just to get away from the misery? Then you will be allowed to do it.

In the comment section, many of the viewers seem to be wondering what is going on in the film.

One comment reads:

“Hahahahaha these can’t be true anyway”.

Another writes that at first he thought it was a school project.

“Hahahhahaha thought this was a UF company for the first 10 seconds”.

And a third has a hard time even taking the video seriously.

“Don’t know if he’s joking or not”.

Not the first time

However, this is not the first time the youth association has caused a stir regarding its view of Swedish drug policy.

In a clip that has previously been shared on their Instagram, the thesis is driven around why they think cannabis should be legalized.
