Muharrem Demirok is proposed to become the new party leader for the Center Party.
It was announced at a press conference on Wednesday.
The new party leader will be formally appointed at an extraordinary party meeting on February 2.
The choice was between the three Riksdag members Daniel Bäckström, Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist and Muharrem Demirok. These names were presented by the selection committee in November.
