The cat Luffar–Lasse collects money for Musikhjälpen

The cat Lasse has over 26,000 followers on Facebook and has become a tourist attraction when he goes to the Överby shopping center in Trollhättan every day on his own.
The celebrity is something that he manages well – “Luffar-Lasse” has in a short time collected enormous sums in his collection bag in Musikhjälpen.

Sweden’s most famous cat has many strings to its lyre and has therefore created headlines during the autumn. In addition to the full-time job of trudging two kilometers to the shopping center every day and greeting people, he will soon also be immortalized by getting a new decorated roundabout at Överby Köpcentrum.

– He has always been very social and wanted to be seen, says owner Jan Karlsson to TV4.

Famous on Facebook

12-year-old Lasse started his daily shopping center visits a couple of years ago. When he gets tired and wants to go home, he tries to get cheap rides from people in the parking lot.

The home address is in the Facebook group which has now gained over 26,000 followers. The family started the group itself to try to keep tabs on him.

“Luffar-Lasse” is a big success in Musikhjälpen

“Luffar-Lasse” may be unusually attached to the shopping center, but now he is also one of the few small animals who actually help to overcome world hunger. Something like the local newspaper TTELA first wrote about.

– Now that we passed Benjamin Ingrosso’s gun, anything can happen, now we become number one, says Lasse’s owner Jan Karlsson to the newspaper.

Collected over SEK 600,000

At the moment, the gun is in third place on the top list of guns.

The hairy crab has therefore become nationally known and in a short time he has earned over 600,000 kroner for Musikhjälpen. A sum that is constantly growing.
