– There was a lot of blood in the apartment and, you know, it was a very traumatic sight to find four dead students in one residence.
Knife may have been used in the murders of the four Idaho students
The police believe that a sharp weapon or a knife may have been used in the murders of the four victims. However, the question remains as to who is to blame.
According to the investigation, it is an “isolated, targeted attack” and thus there is no threat to the remaining 11,500 students affected by the brutal murders. Nor should there be any further threat to the general community.
The murders in Idaho are being described as homicides
At the moment, police are working to create a timeline of the students’ night before the murders, pending the results of the autopsy which they hope will tell more about the causes of death. They have assessed the incident as murder, but that there is a fine line between murder and murder, and are therefore looking for suspects at the same time, write CNN.

Since the tragic Sunday, it has been reported that two more roommates were in the residence at the time of the murders. The two people were neither injured nor held hostage.
City police chief James Fry tells CNN that Ethan, Xana, Madison and Kaylee had returned home from a night out just before 2 a.m. local time and that the murders allegedly happened sometime between 2 a.m. and early Sunday morning.
Despite that, no call came in to the emergency center before lunchtime on Sunday. Fry does not want to say who it was that called.
In addition, there is no evidence that anyone entered the apartment by force, and the weapon allegedly used in the murders has not been found.
Two victims are seen in a video shortly before the murders
Madison and Kaylee are seen in one video order food from a so-called food truck at 01.41 that night. According to the owner of the car, they waited about ten minutes for their food and did not appear to be stressed or anxious.
