Since before, a couple, a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, are being hunted on suspicion of murder and grave breach of peace. They are believed to have fled the country, according to information to TV4 Nyheterna. Both are therefore in custody in their absence and internationally wanted.
The 23-year-old’s little brother, a 19-year-old, is in custody on probable cause on suspicion of murder.
On Friday afternoon, a detention hearing was held against a fourth suspect, a 25-year-old man. He is also on the run, and the district court then decided to arrest him in absentia for murder and grave breach of peace.
The case is growing
Now the police have a fifth suspect in the case. It is about a man who was arrested on Thursday morning and later arrested for grave breach of peace, but not murder.
– It’s nothing I want to comment on, says senior prosecutor Cecilia Tepper, who leads the investigation.
The detainee’s defender confirms the information.
– He denies the crime and that is the only thing I can say, says lawyer Björn Sandin.
According to the prosecutor, the murder took place sometime between March 7 and 10. The victim, a 35-year-old man, was found dead in a dumped bag in the forest by county road 222 in Värmdö.
The prosecutor does not want to comment on whether additional people than the five suspects are being investigated for involvement in the bag murder.
