Up to 4,000 cars are recalled – in Sweden alone

The decision comes after the Dutch authority RDW discovered that the cars have too high emissions and the vehicle manufacturer must fix this through a software update. However, when that will happen is not yet clear.

— We have been in contact with RDW regarding this and although we plan to launch a related software update on some cars, no such action has been taken yet, says Magnus Holst at Volvo Car’s communications department to the magazine.

In Sweden, upwards of 4,000 cars can be covered by the update, writes We car owners.
